All the construction works in Putrajaya development is closely monitored by Project Management Team (PMT) i.e Kuala Lumpur City Centre Berhad. Due to the huge scale of development and the needs to coordinate the construction activities of contractors, the PMT had established various standardised procedures and requirements applicable to all contractors. Amongst there were : -

> Project scheduling and monitoring

> Project quality planning

> Logistic planning

> Environmental management planning

> Health and safety planning

> Security planning

Asia Baru Construction Sdn. Bhd., an ISO 9002:1994 accredited company at the time had given particular emphasis to the above procedure and proceeded with the planning immediately upon receipt of the Letter Of Award. Within two (2) weeks after the commencement of the Contract, all the necessary documented procedures and plans were forwarded to PMT and majority of these plans were approved within the subsequent week, thus enable the commencement of physical works at the site. Throughout the implementation period, the plans were strictly followed and all the above contractual requirements were complied.

The project was implemented smoothly and all the works were completed within the Contract Period, despite many variation/additional works been issued by PMT. Again, Asia Baru Construction Sdn. Bhd. is able to meet all the Clients requirement and complete the project successfully on time despite having to work under very stringent requirement and supervision.
