IR. Tan Siok Looi
Ir. Tan Siok Looi was appointed as a General Manager of the Company in June 2014. Her responsibilities include on overall coordination, planning, technical support and contract administration of projects being tendered and/or secured by the Company. She has accumulated more than 33 years of experience in the construction industry.
Prior to joining ASIA BARU, she was attached with listed and private construction companies and involved in the preparation of proposal, tender (design & build and conventional) and implementation of various types of projects such as highways, major earthworks, Mass Rapid Transit, hospitals, power plants, airport, underground carpark and buildings. In early 1990s, she made significant technical contribution in the company’s privatisation projects in China.
Ir. Tan Siok Looi holds a Master of Business Administration from Multimedia University, Malaysia and Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) from University of Malaya, Malaysia and is registered as a Professional Engineer with the Board of Engineers, Malaysia (NO: C113447) as well as a member of the Institute of Engineers, Malaysia (MIEM).
